Day 1 so far

Well Sheffield has welcome the snooker, with sunshine! Lets over look the fact, its freezing!!! 
Anyway enough on the weather, the first matches of the day; came down to Martin Gould v Dave Gilbert, on table 2.  Table 1 had John Higgins v Liang Wenbo. Results table one see John 6-3 up on Wenbo, after a tense drawn out session. On table two, Martin Gould appeared to be still suffering, his lack of form as Gilbert had all the run. Hope is that Gould can pull it back, this evening.

The afternoon session, is now underway- Neil Robertson v Ken Doherty on table two and Stephen Hendry v Stuart Bingham.
